Role: Participant

21 September, 2024 | Mohakhali, Dhaka, Bangladesh

I recently participated in an engaging workshop with Protibha, an initiative of It’s Humanity Foundation’s Livelihood Program, to learn the basics of traditional rickshaw art. The event welcomed many participants of all ages, each eager to refresh their minds through creativity. We worked with enamel paint mixed with kerosene, bringing vibrant patterns and bold color palettes to life—the hallmarks of rickshaw art in Bangladesh. Learning the specific techniques and design choices behind this unique folk art was inspiring and gave me a fresh perspective on traditional design.
